Left those social networks at the end of last week without telling anybody. I've been getting kind of annoyed with people lately, just people in general, so I stopped logging into sites or chat programs wherein I could be reached. HOWEVER. I've come out from under the floorboards to triumphantly bellow that I now have COX High-Speed Internet plugged straight into the back of my computer, instead of through three splitters, a wireless router and then a wireless extender. The difference is phenomenal. Instead of my bittorrent files downloading at, on average, less than 3 kb/s each...I have a few at over 100 kb/s. That, and SoulSeek now works for me.
Alright. Heading back into online isolation. I'm still here from time to time, so if it's anything dire I'll likely get in touch. Phone calls work too, although I broke the rule to call Rebecca last night, and I'll likely have to break that rule again soon due to her reappearance in Louisiana next week.
